Brief Introduction to the Gaojin Historic Theatre StageThe Gaojin Historic Stage is located at the middle of Gaojin Dong village, Maogong town. It was first built during the years of Qianlong Emperor (1736-1796) of the Qing Dynasty, having a history of more than 200 years. It was formed with 3 main parts, the performance platform, the side building and the audience ground. The main stage is the place where the ethnic drama is performed. The side buildings set at the two sides of the location and the pebble paved audience ground in front of the stage is the place where the audience watched performance. Since June, 2006 it has been classified in the provincial list of major historical and cultural sites for protection.
