Miniature Stone Sculpture - A Masterpiece of Nature

A golden-brown stone has been accidentally detected in one of the wormholes of a petrified wood. The tiny three-dimensional object is measured 5 millimeter broad by 8 millimeter in length. Its actual overall appearance per se is hardly visible to unaided human eyes.

Under high magnification, the evocative stone vividly depicts a dragon-looking creature (中国螭龙). Its external anatomy and morphology are conspicuously outlined. This mythical animal is in a crouching position.
  
A forehead protuberance, a concave nose and a mouth with a few teeth are prominent. Its twin circular ears and eye-sockets both are identical respectively. Two head horns curl backwards. The pertinent features of this auspicious vertebrate are anatomically proportional.

Intriguingly, a small piece of short triangular tail protrudes above the upper portion of its well-differentiated anal cavity. The front and hind limbs are seamlessly paired. At least four shiny claws are detectable. Peculiarly, its shoulders have a mini-horn each (left one is only a trace). If this miniature could be bisected, inevitably, the two eventual parts would look bilaterally symmetrical. Notwithstanding, mainstream paleontologists categorically repudiate the possible existence of such an entity – a soft organic tissue fossil of exquisite preservation.
  
The object is noticeably covered by a layer of thick skin which has been long intruded and consequentially inundated by foreign inclusions – secondary mineral deposits. No compelling evidence indicates that its anciently old appearance has been artificially faked.  Neither a modern handicraft nor an artifact in antiquity can be included. Hence, the genesis of this minuscule masterpiece of art is nothing but a freak of nature.

The sculpture of extreme miniaturization in the said art-stone is impeccable and absolutely an enigma. It unravels, in lucidity, the mystical mastery and ultimate artistry of Nature.
