Lituan Drum TowerThe octagonal pagoda style multi-eave drum tower with a pyramid roof has 13 stories, is 21.37 meters high and covers an area of 133 sq. meters. It is named Lou Den in Dong language, and ‘The Propriety Group Drum Tower’ in Chinese, belonging to the clans of Ying, Man and Deng. First built in the 17th century, it is the oldest one in the village.It was rebuilt in 1982 by the carpenter Lu Wenli from Jitang. |
