桥顶及周边植被群落完整，生长着40多种乔木，以及种类繁多的灌木、藤本及草本。林间崖畔，栖息着八哥(Acridotheres cristatellus)、画眉(Garrulax canorus)等数十种珍禽。Great Natural Rocky BridgeThe Great Natural Rocky Bridge is located at Gaotun Town in Liping County, 16 km away from the county seat. The bridge is 118 m wide, with a 138m arch that is 36.6m high with a 40m thick layer of rock on the top. The bridge is covered with luxuriant vegetation that stays green throughout the four seasons of the year.In the area around the bridge there are more than 40 species of trees, and many varieties of shrubs, herbs and lianas.
